This morning I heard the second episode of the radio program "I'm Clare and the dark" (Rai Radio Due), special edition live from the Rebibbia prison in Rome. The first was aired yesterday.
The so-called "psicoascoltatori" program conducted by the writer Clare Gamberale now found themselves in a discussion about the weather, activity and on inactivation, about regrets and desires, compared with the actual voices of those who are in prison. One of the speakers has been there for 26 years. More 4 or 8 years, others are about to start the day release, others will come out in 2011. All activities are in prison, and do not work, and engage with themselves and with their growth. They also fear, often.
The transmission was one of the best things heard on the radio this year, and for me one of the most interesting programs that you remember.
